Any work carried out by Datacat is warranted by the company for a minimum of 15 years. In the case of generic installations where client's components are included this is limited to components supplied and work carried out by Datacat.
In the majority of cases, where entire networks or individual links are installed by Datacat, each link is tested and the test results provided to the client in PDF form. If any link fails within the lifetime of the warranty (by default 15 years) Datacat will replace or repair it free of charge provided that there has been no physical damage (eg water damage or cable cut) by a third party.
Where additional warranty is required Datacat are authorised installers for Nexans (Alcatel) and Connectix. In the case of Nexans and Connectix installations Datacat provide the client not only test results but also a certificate of Manufacturer's Link Warranty which is valid separately and additionally to the standard Datacat lifetime warranty.
