Datacat are now be offering Panduit CAT6A UTP (unshielded) 10Gbps cabling installations to complement our existing Excel U/FTP (shielded) solution.

UTP offers the advantages of not depending on the eathing of the foil shield, which can act as a conductor of electromagnetic interference if cabinets are not grounded properly.

Price of CAT6A UTP starts at around £65.00 per network point (suject to survey). Like all Datacat installatins, they come with full 20 year manufacturer’s warranty and test results.
